Btw im just a beginner Ive never sketched or painted before so please put that into consideration and also my painting is not finished yet i still need 2 add a few more lines to it but i want ur help to make it much better is there any way to give it a faded look like the original? thanks
10, 10 and 10 – you are talented – don’t ever stop
I don’t think you should give it a faded look- but just my opinion- you could try a little white- mixed with water or better yet- GESSO and uh that should produce a filmy layer over the paint- also protects it too

Here's my opinion: artistic talent is largely learned. Most of the so-called experts will argue this statement, of course. They’ll proclaim that artistic oil painting techniques are only in the grasp of those rare individuals that are born with a mysteriously God-like ability to create art. Being lowly mortals, we should never even try to understand art let alone try to create it. Give me a break! Click here For the rest of the story: Free Painting Lesson
