It is by itself a very specialized and niche cosmetic field. In simple words, it means beautifying and designing one’s nails. Nail painting and piercing are now becoming the norm of the day and are becoming very popular and attracting women of all age groups.
It is always a feel good factor when you leave your salon with beautiful and decorated nails with either intricate or simple designs on them. In nail art, there is no end to the accessories that are available to decorate nails. You can go in for crushed sea shells that give a unique look to your nails or you can try out some dazzling stars and glitter flakes for that extra cool look. 3D art flowers and ceramic animals have also become quite popular in nail ceramic decorations. One can also use bouncy balls that come in a wide assortment of colors and these look very exclusive. Metallic and pearl flower sets are also among the latest accessories in nail art which look extraordinary from the rest.
Rhinestones, Swarovski crystals and acrylic stones continue to be popular choices as these go along with any occasion and can change the overall look of your nails. These come in different shapes, sizes and colors to suit individual tastes and preferences.

lead paint testing for home built in 1964. Paint is not peeling/cracking, no kids?
My husband and I are looking at buying a home in NE Tacoma. It was built in 1964. The paint on the surface looks “recent” no cracking or peeling.
I’ve heard its a major health concern from some and other say only if its ingested- ex: kids eating paint chips.
About how much does it cost to test for (was planning on buying a home test- homox) and fix (take the paint off)
Is it worth it? I mean this seems to only be a recent thing. And lead is found in A LOT of things it seems- toys, railings, soil, paint, Children’s paint sets and art supplies (always look at labels).
Pewter pitchers and dinnerware,
Storage batteries….even water and more.. I mean even if I fixed the paint in the walls there must there has to be lead in other places.
It seems to only be a problem if it is disturbed (paint on walls that is) like sanded or something..what about drilling a nail in the wall?
If I put a coating over the wall would that suffice?
1964 you have no problems Lead was not used that late
Here's my opinion: artistic talent is largely learned. Most of the so-called experts will argue this statement, of course. They’ll proclaim that artistic oil painting techniques are only in the grasp of those rare individuals that are born with a mysteriously God-like ability to create art. Being lowly mortals, we should never even try to understand art let alone try to create it. Give me a break! Click here For the rest of the story: Free Painting Lesson
