Early Childhood Education?

I’m taking an early childhood education class, and I need to write a 4 day lesson plan for children ages 4-5. The Theme is: Classification….. This is kind of confusing and I really need some advice on the whole thing… If anyone can help me it would be greatly appreciated.

Categories
*Games: 2 gross motor activities, 1 gross motor exercise, 1 fingerplay, 1 fine motor activity
* Art: 1 easel project, 2 table projects
* Music: 2 songs
* Literature: 2 fingerplays, 1 book
* Teacher directed activities: 15 min
* Outdoor activity: 1
I think im on the right track but just not sure…. If you can really help me please send an email if needed….
I didnt come up with the theme My teacher did, and I dont know where 2 start with this>>>>
The teacher does not like to email, I don’t have her contact number, and I didnt pick the theme.. Please read the question…

Gross motor skills:
String 4 large beads on a shoe string.
Already having the paper shredded; (colorful paper)
put glue stick glue on construction paper and let them put the pieces on a paper mosaic.
1 fingerplay would be.
Singing to (are you sleeping)
where is thumbkin, look it up; learning the names of the fingers.
Fine motor skills:
doing puzzles, drawing, painting.

also; was that theme you picked classification? Because you’re gonna have to be more specific on what exactly you’re classifying? Because than you could make the gross motor skills and finger plays etc…based on your theme; because that is what you’re suppose to do. And it is good to have time limits on the lesson plan; to make it look like the day is more structurized!!!!

Children’s Art Table Plans

Here's my opinion: artistic talent is largely learned. Most of the so-called experts will argue this statement, of course. They’ll proclaim that artistic oil painting techniques are only in the grasp of those rare individuals that are born with a mysteriously God-like ability to create art. Being lowly mortals, we should never even try to understand art let alone try to create it. Give me a break! Click here For the rest of the story: Free Painting Lesson
