Artemis Fowl Movie (again)?
So i know i asked this a few months go but its a bit different. Although i haven’t finished the series, i’ve been told countless times that i physically resemble Minerva, and our personalities are extremely similar. I was wondering that when (if) they do the next few books where she is introduced, what the casting process would be and what are the chances it would be an open call. And if anyone has updates about the movie….

yea i know minerva is 12, im about 15, but i swear i am very small for my age (im still automatically given a child’s ticket at the movies) and besides Minerva is very mature and a 12 year old may not be able to handle it
Minerva is in the fifth book, The Lost Colony. There isn’t much news about the movie. So far production appears to be at a stand still. I don’t think the rights to The Lost Colony have been purchased yet, but if the first movie does well in theaters there is a chance The Lost Colony will be made into a film. As for open casting I have no idea. You may want to keep in mind Minerva is 12 in the beginning of TLC and the movie is probably over three years away.

Here's my opinion: artistic talent is largely learned. Most of the so-called experts will argue this statement, of course. They’ll proclaim that artistic oil painting techniques are only in the grasp of those rare individuals that are born with a mysteriously God-like ability to create art.
